A few things you should know…
If Last Go were a slow dance it would probably be Chris de Burgh’s ‘lady in red’ because they’re classy and timeless, and understand the brilliance of lyrics that rhymed dance, romance and chance.
If Last Go were a fine wine they’d be red, old and rich with a brooding smokiness and sultry tannins.
If Last Go came to your party they wouldn’t leave with your girlfriend because theirs are better.
If Last Go were a cut of beef they’d be a T-bone. Filet is too soft, sirloin too common, but T-bone is bad to the bone.
If Last Go were a sport they’d be long-distance ski jumping because you gotta throw yourself of the edge to survive.
If Last Go went to the casino they’d go with the mantra, ‘go big or go home’. They’d either cash in their watches or roll away in a white Lexus.
If Last Go went to one of their own gigs they’d stand at the back during the support, drink some warm beer out of a bendy plastic pint glass, and push forward for the headline making themselves unpopular as they go but knowing that the first chord will counter all bad-feeling in the room.
